Today I thought of preparing a cupcake, a simple vanilla cupcake. I made it special by some butter cream frosting and strawberry topping. This will be a favorite one for all kids. Kids usually love eating cakes when they are given in a special way. Strawberries are always favorite for kids. So I used that also, this will attract the kids very much.
Some explanations about the ingredients and frosting. First thing about adding the eggs, avoid using egg yolks with less yellow color so that the cake will be white in color. And about frosting, if your frosting needs more stiff consistency, add remaining sugar. If your frosting needs to be thinned out, add remaining milk 1 tablespoon at a time.

Vanilla cupcakes with butter-cream frosting and Strawberry
For cupcake preparation
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1 cup Butter
- 4 Eggs
- 3 cups All purpose flour/ Maida
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 2 tablespoons Vanilla essence
- 4/3 cups Cold milk
For Vanilla Butter cream Frosting
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 3 cups Powdered sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 2 tablespoons Milk
- Salt (a pinch)
- If your frosting needs more stiff consistency, add remaining sugar.
- If your frosting needs to be thinned out, add remaining milk 1 tablespoon at a time.
